Build a Water and Wastewater Career Worth Showing Up For
Most people don’t stumble into water and wastewater utility work. They find it, stay, and wonder how they didn’t get here sooner. It’s hands-on, technically demanding, and genuinely important: the systems you help run deliver clean water and protect public health for thousands of people across Western Washington every single day.

WWSVC has been doing this work since 1983. We’re a team that people join and stay with, because the work is meaningful, the leadership is real, and the growth is there if you want it. We hire for character as much as credential, and we invest in the people we bring on. You won’t just be handed a route and a clipboard. You’ll be trained, mentored, and trusted.
If you’re looking for water operator jobs in Western Washington, or you’re ready to move from the field into something bigger, we’d like to hear from you.

It’s been a great experience. I’ve done just about every job in both waste and drinking water, and I’m still learning something new every day. The company has grown tremendously, from just three people when I started to what it is now. My advice for anyone starting out: don’t get discouraged. If you hit a problem, bring it to leadership instead of getting frustrated. Every day is a new day.
Over 15 years with the company, I’ve had countless opportunities to serve communities across the region, from digging ditches to managing membrane bioreactor systems. Water & Wastewater Services is more than a company, it’s a team dedicated to protecting public health and investing in its people. We’ve grown from about 20 employees to nearly 48, with even more opportunities ahead for anyone building a career in this industry.
I’ve worked for Water & Wastewater Services for nearly 14 years, and it’s been the best experience of my career. I’ve learned new, innovative technology in the water and wastewater fields, and since the company spans Washington State, I’ve gotten to travel and see more of it. This is a family-run business that treats employees like family and helps us grow personally and professionally. The sky is the limit!
